Introducing The First Ever Wellness Retreat
at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan
Yoga Teacher and Yogic Healer, Denise Leicester Teaches Guests to
Reconnect and Re-energize over a 3-day program, between 24 to 28 Oct 2013
With an ideal setting amidst the lush jungle greenery in the Ayung River valley, The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan introduces a 3 day wellness retreat. Created together with Denise Leicester, a qualified yoga teacher and yogic healer, the program offers spa treatments and activities to enable guests to experience a journey of self discovery.
Four Seasons invited Denise to create this wellness retreat as a natural continuation to a new spa concept, introduced a year ago, which incorporates authentic spiritual traditions, such as chakra balancing, Balinese Ayurvedic practices, yoga and meditation, to maintain wellness and peace of mind.
Denise Leicester, a qualified nurse, aromatherapist, yogi and
founder of renowned spa brand ila, has spent a lifetime exploring the dynamics
of natural healing through rural communities, from India to Dubai, and spans
Eastern and South American healing traditions. From extensive studies on the
topic, Denise believes in the power of healing energy – a higher vibration
capable of facilitating profound inner change.
With this conviction, Denise is internationally well known
for conducting such retreats which focus on specific energy centers in the
body, especially on physical, emotional and spiritual
reenergizing and reconnecting between oneself and the world.
The extensive progamme has a different focus for each day,
beginning with Muladhara – Base Chakra on Day 1, Manipura – Solar Plexus on Day
2 and Vishuddha – Throat Chakra on Day 3. As part of this programme, guests
will experience, amongst other activities, various yoga sessions including
hatha, pranayama, nidra as well as spa treatments, meditation, morning walks and
purification and blessing ceremony. The experience of the retreat is enhanced
with the setting, which provides a serene, nurturing environment – ideal for
treatments that offer a deep inner focus. This 3-day wellness package is
perfect for couples looking to reconnect, singles looking to center and focus
for the next exciting life chapter and business executives looking to re-charge
from exhaustion,
“We are really excited with this timely programme and with a
detailed hour by hour itinerary we created for the 3 days, we hope to provide
guests with an education on lasting wellness, and that they leave the resort
feeling re-energised and with a new outlook to life” Says Helen Norman, Senior
Director of Spa, Four Seasons Resorts Bali.

If Bali’s beaches lure the glamorous crowd, then the central highlands draw a bohemian set. Artists, spiritual seekers and intellectuals flock to Ubud, the cultural pulse of the island, where upscale galleries and trendy cafés radiate laid-back cool. High above the Ayung River, Sayan is Ubud’s most peaceful retreat. From here, every step leads to a spot more beautiful than the last.
